@Jesse, yes kids love to make things. Especially if it makes them dirty.

@Beechbaby Sounds beautiful! I would love to get a present like that.

@Maija You could also paint a wine glass and use it for drinking or as a tealight holder. Thanks for the ideas BTW.

You can also paint glasses: I bought a specific kit for that (they’re acrylic paints meant for glass). You can’t easily get solid colors with the paints (at least mine), but they’re great for marble-like textures and such. You could either paint a normal drinking glass or one meant to use as a tealight holder.

My daughter made me a lap tray for Christmas 3 years ago. She used pictures of the grandkids as well as pictures of her, her brother and older sister. It’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever received!
