Saturday’s garage sale find: potato cutter

It’s the small things in life. I prefer my fries homemade and our family frequently requests them so I was excited when I found this potato cutter on Saturday.

I usually make potato wedges in the oven with garlic and rosemary. It’s so easy and everyone loves them.

It’s healthier too because you don’t use as much oil as you would in a deep fryer. I tried non-stick spray once but it wasn’t the same because they were so dry. You could also use this to chop carrots, which I think I will do because I can barely fit into my clothes as it stands.

We had a community garage sale here and it was so nice seeing all the neighbours out and socializing. We didn’t have a lot of customers outside the neighbourhood, but we bought off each other so it worked out.

I have a ton of candles that I made while on a candle making kick but didn’t think of putting them out to sell. I also dug out two easy bake ovens from the basement after the sale. I don’t know how that happened. The thrill is definitely gone with the kids so I’ll stick the ovens out with the candles next time.
